Bonjour, Paris!

Hello, Paris! While in Germany this past summer, we decided to travel a bit in Europe. And of course we had to take a trip to Paris! Although all three of us loved Paris a lot, Maham fell IN LOVE with it the most. She obsessed over it like no other, lol. Paris is definitely the city of love. It's absolutely beautiful! We stayed in Paris for only a little and it was chilly and a little muggy and gloomy, but we enjoyed our time there to the fullest. We obviously saw the Eiffel Tower and couldn't take our eyes off her. We took a tour bus around the beautiful city and really enjoyed sight-seeing. We saw all the historical sites and learned about the history of buildings. The buildings were extraordinary- with detailed architecture, both inside and outside of the buildings. The most beautiful of all was the Notre Dame. To see it in person was mind-blowing! It was an enormous building with gargoyles arched into the walls; the inside was even more breathtaking. The stained glass art, the carvings along the ceilings, the domes- everything was extrinsic. We wish we were able to stay in Paris more so we can see more of this beautiful city! A few days was not enough! We think even a whole week there would not be enough: there are endless boutiques, cafes, restaurants, and so much more sight seeing to do there. Hopefully next time we take a trip to Europe we will do so! While we were there, we did have to have the famous crepes while in Paris and we definitely obsessed over the Eiffel Tower...A LOT. You'll see that in the pictures below! Enjoy!

Gutten Tag, Germany

Gutten Tag, Germany! Another great place we visited this past summer was Germany! We were there for a short amount of time, but we loved how beautiful Germany really is. In such a short amount of time, we were lucky enough to go see a few beautiful places in Germany.

Of course we had to see Frankfurt! It's like the NYC of Germany. Shops, rooftop restaurants, nightlife- love the city life! While we were in Frankfurt, we shopped a lot (surprisingly!). We visited several breathtaking places in the country. We have to admit that we didn't know that Germany was so beautiful, and there's still sooo many places we didn't get to see. We spent several days walking around the city streets of Frankfurt. The views are beautiful and there is so much to see just in Frankfurt itself. Below are some pictures from Frankfurt!

We also went to Rodenbach, Heidelberg, saw the Heidelberg Castle, visited Rudesheim,and saw so many more beautiful places that we don't even remember the name of, lol!

Overall, our stay in Germany was lots of fun! Along with all the sightseeing we did we were able to spend time with family and even attend our cousins wedding!! We saw the Islamic wedding ceremony as well as the court marriage, German style! We definitely had loads of fun! It inspired us to travel more and more and that's why we decided to visit more of Europe while we were in Germany, which you will see more of.... WATCH THIS SPACE!
